The second half of the Luxembourg Ladies Tennis Masters quarter finals took place on Friday evening.

Martina Hingis from Switzerland defeated Kiki Bertens from the Netherlands 7:6 and 6:2 in the first game of the day.

Jelena Janković from Serbia faced Daniela Hantuchová from Slovakia in the second game. This quarter final ended prematurely when Janković injured herself during the first set and had to forfeit the game, forcing the match to be called off.

As a result, Martina Hingis will face Daniela Hantuchová in the semi-finals on Saturday.

Kim Clijsters from Belgium and Agnieszka Radwańska from Poland advanced to the semi-finals on Thursday.
